Meet the Team
PresidentTwenty-four years in the music and entertainment industry has given Gary Grosjean a world of experience in dealing with management, customer relations and quality service. Grosjean served as a tour and production manager for such notables as The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, The Steve Miller Band, The Pointer Sisters and many more. He managed everything from the complicated logistics of flying a crew of 200 people around the world for a Rolling Stones concert tour to renting out an entire raceway to put on a thank you party for Aerosmith’s concert production crew. Grosjean left the music business seven years ago and built a new career in high-end construction management. In the past five years he has combined both tour management and construction experience and knowledge to build the foundation for administration and operations at A Step Above, Inc.

Donna has been with our team since 2012 and has played an integral part in the company’s successful growth and change during that time. As A Step Above’s Bookkeeper she has developed systems to provide excellent customer service and quality correspondence with our Customers.
A native Californian, Donna has lived in Incline and Truckee since 1986 and is definitely a Local. She plays the bagpipes, sings in a classic rock band and a lounge band, is a member of the Truckee Tahoe Community Choir, and is learning the saxophone. She graduated from UC Berkeley in Philosophy and enjoys her time with her two children, one of who works for A Step Above, Gaela. “Truckee is a unique and amazing place, filled with beauty. It is a special place to be.”
Direction of Operations
Vince joined forces with A Step Above in January of 2018 as the Director of Operations. He has an extensive background in construction and facility maintenance. In 2014, after twelve years in facility maintenance, Vince moved from the high deserts of Southern California to Truckee to pursue a career in construction management. He has an eye for detail and an iron will to deliver a superior, higher quality product to clients. His four years with Jim Morrison Construction gave him a unique vantage point when it comes to maintaining a home.
Vince is a part time athlete competing in triathlon events across the country. “Truckee offers an amazing opportunity to explore nature and enjoy lake life and I have enjoyed every minute of being a part of this talented home care team.”
